This tour begins at Kathmandu and a drive to the Nepal - Tibet border. The tour includes some of the fantastic scenery of the Tibetan Landscapes and the culture and the spectacular monastries. The final phase of this tour is focused in Lhasa. We visit the great monastries including Jhokhang,  Norbulingka, Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and the religious Potala Palace built in 1645.
Enjoy fabulous mountain scenery enroute, visit mystical Buddhist monasteries of Tashilungpo at Shigatse, the Kumbum Stupa at Gyantse, and drive past the beautiful Turquoise lake. In Lhasa visit the famous Potala and Norbulinkha palaces, the great Drepung Monastery and walk through the bustling Barkor Bazaar before flying back to Kathmandu (or onward to China).
